Taking over from the former-generation iPP300 series, the Lane/3000 offers increased security and enhances consumer experience. As all Telium TETRA devices, it is PCI-v5 certified. This guarantees the highest level of protection of cardholders’ data and a long-term investment to securely accept all electronic payments.
The Lane/3000 was devised to help retailers address consumers’ demand for a swift checkout process and the freedom to use their preferred payment methods. These include NFC wallets and alternative payments based on QR codes, very popular in Asia, or on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) via smartphones, commonly used in the Nordic countries.
Focused on payment, this Retail PIN pad features a dedicated contactless target, a colour touch display and an ergonomic backlit keypad. The modularity of the Lane/3000 makes it a truly versatile POS, allowing field upgrades – with biometric or camera add-on, for instance – to follow the evolution of local regulations.
Compact by design, the Lane/3000 easily integrates into any retail environment using its Universal Payment Mount (UPM). This enables the replacement of old POS with minimum adjustment to the mounting system.
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Lane/3000, a retail PIN pad completing our Telium TETRA range and replacing our legacy bestseller, the iPP300 series.’ said Frédéric Lepeintre, VP Marketing of the Banks and Acquirers BU at Ingenico Group. ‘Designed for payment, the Lane/3000 is a future-proof solution to accept all payments methods in multilane environments, which provides the best return on investment. The Lane/3000 also demonstrates Ingenico Group’s ability to fulfil local needs worldwide.’
