Reuters Events has announced the return of Canada’s premier insurance conference. The Future of Insurance Canada 2024 is scheduled for the 12th and 13th of December at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto. The event draws over 300 of the most influential leaders and decision-makers from the industry, representing 90% of the top Canadian carriers.

As AI reshapes core functions like underwriting and claims, and customer expectations shift rapidly, the Canadian insurance industry faces unprecedented disruption. “Incremental changes are no longer enough. Insurers need bold, purpose-driven strategies to stay competitive and meet evolving demands,” said Konstantinos-Konor Lambrinidis, Project Director at Reuters Events. He added that The Future of Insurance Canada 2024 is where leaders lay the blueprint for these strategies, offering them a chance to learn from industry experts and peers.

Confirmed speakers include Tracy Garrad, CEO of Aviva Canada; Jordan Brennan, Chief Economist & VP of Policy Development at IBC; Chantal Gagne, SVP of L&H at Desjardins; and Markus Giese, Chief Compliance Officer at Zurich Canada. These thought leaders, among many others, will share their strategies for navigating disruption, accelerating innovation, and leading with purpose in the Canadian market.

Over two days, attendees will benefit from case studies, fireside chats, expert panels, and interactive Q&A sessions, all designed to tackle the most pressing issues head-on. Themes cover AI integration, customer-centric innovation, and strategic transformation—equipping leaders with practical insights they can immediately apply.

This conference is a real opportunity to take on board the collective learnings and insights of the past year -often gathered through trial and error- and set out a pragmatic roadmap to success for 2025.
