Sopra Banking Software (SBS) has introduced its new-generation, modular, real-time, cloud-native core banking platform, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies.
The SBP Core Platform is designed to support the complete range of banking services, including deposits, payments, lending, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
It can be easily integrated with SBS’s Digital Engagement Platform to provide a cost-effective and rapid time-to-market solution for banks seeking a full end-to-end banking platform.
Furthermore, the cloud-native platform will improve the user experience for both its customers and employees, said Sopra Banking Software.
Sopra Banking Software CPO Michel De Bolle said: “A few years ago, we pioneered the introduction of a component-based core banking platform. Today, we aspire to be at the forefront of integrating AI into essential banking systems.
“This is not a future vision; it’s our current reality. And we are dedicated to making it accessible to everyone through significant and ongoing investments in the years to come.”
The France-based financial technology company is offering its Core Platform as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution and comes with a completely pre-configured Model Bank.
The platform allows the customers to adopt the solution very quickly and reduces their total cost of ownership (TCO).
Its underlying architecture provides a cloud-native development and runtime environment, customised as per the specific needs of the financial services industry, said Sopra.
Sopra Banking Software CEO Eric Bierry said: “After years of investments and a successful 18-month beta launch, the new version of the SBP Core Platform is now available to all our customers. With its open architecture, high scalability, and integrated AI capabilities, we anticipate this platform will be a game changer for banks.
“Delivered in Software-as-a-Service, it offers cost efficiency, the highest level of security, and seamless product updates, ensuring our customers can access our latest innovations without lengthy migration projects.”
Earlier this year, KCB Bank contracted Sopra Banking Software to design, build, deliver, and support the savings and lending products portfolio through its lending, savings, and payments platform, KCB Vooma.
