Netcoins, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Canada, has collaborated with payment processing company Simplex to support the purchase of cryptocurrencies with credit cards.
The new offering can be availed by both new and existing Netcoins customers, with immediate effect. Customers can buy crypto using credit cards at Netcoins.app.
Currently, the exchange facilitates crypto transactions through retail locations, pre-paid vouchers as well as online with account funds.
Commenting on the partnership, Netcoins CEO Mark Binns said: “We continue to work hard at making crypto more accessible to the mainstream public.
“Netcoins is uniquely positioned to service all levels of crypto traders, whether they are someone who prefers a familiar retail setting, or someone who wants a seamless online experience. “We are thrilled to be working with Simplex to enable credit card payments, and a fast and secure way for our users to purchase crypto via our portal.”
Other recent partnerships of Simplex:
A couple of days ago, Singaporean crypto exchange KuCoin tapped Simplex to enable credit card payments for crypto purchases. Last month, Malta-based digital asset exchange Binance launched a similar service, in association with Simplex.
For both the firms, the collaboration supports the purchase of Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and XRP with credit cards.
